November 29, 2024 Meeting
On October 30, 2024, I told Pastor Yang that restoring Group Five would undermine the unity of the church and cause division, because doing so would directly conflict with the Elder Board’s June 23, 2024 decision to dissolve Group Five and have its members join other groups. On November 29, Pastor Rui Yang invited us to his home to continue the discussion (see the November 29, 2024 WeChat screenshot).

During lunch with Rui Yang on November 29, 2024, he again repeated the view expressed in his October 20 email and asked me to help bring back the former Group Five members who had already joined other groups so that he could reestablish Group Five. I told him again that doing so would conflict with the Elders Board’s June 23 decision to dissolve Group Five and could cause division within the church. Therefore, I did not agree with his plan.

To my surprise, after I emailed him on January 2, 2025—having heard that he had already reestablished Group Five—to express our desire to participate, he unexpectedly imposed a condition: I had to apologize to all Group Five members before we would be allowed to join. As a result, on January 5, 2025, I asked him why we were not being allowed to join Group Five.
沒有想到，在2025年1月2日，我寫電郵給他（因為聽說他已重組第五組），表達了我們願意參加的願望後，他突然莫名奇妙地給我一個參加他重組的五組，說我必須向第五組全體道歉，才可參加。以致我在2025年1月5日問他：不讓參加五組的原因。
