Another reason I continued attending worship services at SKC was its proximity to my home. The church is only 1.8 miles away, about a five-minute drive. For an elderly person with a disability like me, who is unable to drive and must rely on a church sister for transportation to and from church, the church's location—only 1.8 miles from my home, about a five-minute drive away—was an important practical consideration.
