Bullying has no place in the body of Christ. It is contrary to biblical teaching and undermines the church's witness to Christ's love.
Inspired by Ephesians 4:15, which calls believers to "speak the truth in love," and Ephesians 5:11, which instructs Christians to "have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them," this book seeks to present the truth with both love and integrity.
This book tells the true story of a middle-aged man from northeastern China—the homeland of Errenzhuan, a traditional Chinese folk singing and performance art. Gifted in public speaking and skilled in singing and playing musical instruments, he graduated from an American seminary in May 2024 and, four months later, was hired as a pastor by a Chinese church in the United States. Soon after he assumed his pastoral ministry, a series of bullying incidents began to unfold.
By documenting these real events, the author traces how they unfolded, examines their lasting impact, and encourages churches to uphold biblical truth, confront bullying, protect the vulnerable, and faithfully reflect the love, justice, and holiness of Jesus Christ.
霸凌在基督的身體裡沒有立足之地。 它違背聖經的教導，也損害教會見證基督之愛的使命。本書以《以弗所書》4章15節「惟用愛心說誠實話」和5章11節「不要與人同行那些黑暗無益的事，倒要責備行這事的人」為核心理念，盼望以愛心和誠實呈現事實真相。本書記載了一位來自中國東北「二人轉」之鄉的中年人。他頗具演講才華，善於彈唱，於2024年5月畢業於美國一所神學院，數月後受聘於一間美國華人教會擔任傳道人。然而，自他開始牧職後不久，一連串霸凌事件便接踵而至。。

Before My Withdrawal from the Church Following Pastor Rui Yang's July 20, 2025 Assault, the Church Elders and Deacons Gave Me These Commendations (click below）. 在我受到楊睿7/20/2025白天襲擊受傷、與當晚聲明退會之前， 教會長老和執事們曾經是這樣的稱讚我（請點擊下圖）。
The following four images document the response of Pastor Rui (Ray) Yang and another church leader after they received my church withdrawal statement, which I sent at 11:38 p.m. on July 20, 2025. In that statement, I explained that I was withdrawing from the church because I had been injured earlier that day during an assault by Pastor Rui (Ray) Yang.
Rather than contacting me to learn what had happened, asking about the details of the incident, or expressing Christian love and concern for my injuries, they took a very different course of action. Less than eleven hours after receiving my withdrawal statement, an anonymous message was posted to the church co-workers' group under the nickname "Batman," falsely claiming that I was under "church disciplinary action." Without presenting any evidence to support that accusation, this message marked the beginning of the four-step campaign, illustrated in the images below, to discredit an innocent brother in Christ.

Pastor Ray (Rui) Yang was formally hired by the church in September 2024, but just one month later, conflicts began to arise between him and Charlie Cheng, a brother in Christ who cared about him.
